The Commemoration Program is growing day by day. Events are now scheduled to occur in Melbourne, along the Burke and Wills Track, and in various international locations. Select the appropriate menu item on the left to find out what's happening in Melbourne or in regions "along the track", look below for the complete calendar for July, or click on the appropriate month below to see further ahead.
STOP PRESS: Events are now starting to appear in cities and towns which are not "along the track" but have some connection with the Expedition nevertheless. Examples are Castlemaine and Beechworth, where Burke was based as a police officer, Horsham, which is where the surviving camels finished up, and Brisbane, home to the Queensland Museum whose archeologists are researching the Plant Camp. So "Along the Track" now covers all events happening in an Australian location outside Melbourne.
